never gonne be the same again (1960 - 2009)
My favourite aunt passed away today. She had been diagnosed with ALS (more info here, if interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amyotrophic_lateral_sclerosis ) about 3 years ago, I believe, and we'd been watching her slowly turn into a different person. They live in Aurora and unfortunately because of that, I rarely get to see them. Despite that, they're literally my favourite people in the world. There's always been so much happiness with them that make up some pretty amazing memories. My aunt was an amazing person. She was always so interested in what I was up to and even offered to pay for my college education because my parents refused to help me. My aunt leaves behind my uncle and their 4 children (16, 14, 12 and 8), so please keep your throughts - or prayers, it doesn't matter - with them. This is for Heather Lukezic, one of the greatest people I've ever met.

this one time i asked a lady what time it was at the bank... 6 months later, i am the godfather of her quintuplets
I can't sleep, most likely due to nerves because of my upcoming appointment.
Anyway, Tim asked me to draw his band, The Muttering Retreats www.myspace.com/themutteringretreats, and I did what I could with a silly idea of my own.
I don't know why, but I decided to use minimal colour in this, and I think it really suits it. I asked for Scott's opinion first, of course. Oh, from left to right: Tim as Super Lloyd, Chris as a funky bear and Cari as a saxin' penguin.

Ok, so I'm not an artist but...
now you have to look at my attempts at art anyway :)
Melissa (the angry bee herself) told me to draw my favorite animal and that happens to be a penguin. Once I started drawing, he became a pirate. I have no idea why. If he looks sad to you, it is because his boat is floating away and he's lost but no one knows!
Was there a dog in here just now?

Everything must go
After hearing that I drew what I thought of 'someguy', Cari asked me to draw what I think of her.
I decided to draw her as a powerpuff girl, because I think that's a pretty fair representation. In a good way, of course. They're super cute, super sweet... and they fight crime - I'm assuming that Cari does, too.

Batman - Stage 1
Bad Horse Chorus
What a crazy random happenstance!
I'm not much of a writer, so here's the deal: in my new goal of making one drawing a day - I've gotten a friend to join me - it was suggested that a blog be made and said drawings be posted.
The first drawing is a cover of a new-ish released Criterion dvd titled White Dog, (more info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084899/ ), that I've been completely obsessed with since purchasing the dvd.
